That’s the only way any of that other stuff is going to happen. I don’t care how many people you have calling for it, the politicians still have to create LAW to make change. The ones we have are never going to do that.

There are no good choices, but we have to do something drastic. Ranked choice is preferable in my opinion than what we have. I’m just saying it won’t get rid of Big Money.
Ian, the only way we’re going to get a free and fair political process in my opinion is to cut off the head of the snake. The head is all the oligarchs and billionaires that literally control just about everything. our politicians on both sides of the aisle do. The body is our body politics. Cut off the head and we’ll get good government because our politicians will have to be responsive to us to get her vote and not big money. Anything else that falls short, we’ll get the same old thing.
My first post contains a humble suggestion for achieving a government for us. The effort is not a difficult one or a time-consuming one. It simply requires a united front by We the People. This requires a grass effort across the country, as Bernie Sanders has stated.
We did that in 2020. The people don't vote, because the Democrats don't represent us. Do you know how many multi-millionaires are in Congress, both Democrat and Republican? You can't do ANYTHING until you get representatives actually willing to do it.
Further, unless we have OVERWHELMING turnout, the voter suppression and straight up fraud will prevent us from electing anyone. The only way we get 90 million people to turn out is by a party that actually represents them and the only way to ensure people can vote for that party is ranked choice.
Unless, of course, that party movement gains so much support and takes voters from the other parties that it doesn't matter. Unfortunately, too many people have let the oppressors tell them what they're allowed to do, so many won't believe it possible.

That's why we need to use it to run a third party on two basic principles: create a free and fair political process & end neoliberal exploitation.

I’m all for your ranked voting, but I still say it won’t cut off the head of the snake. We’ll just have to disagree to that extent.
